The Indian team did what no country has been able to do in this World Cup. India has become the first country in the world to win the T20 World Cup on its own home ground.

In the final match, India set a huge target of 256 runs against New Zealand, in response to which the Kiwi team was reduced to just 159. The win over 19 overs proved the unmatched synergy between Indian bowling and batting.
