NFL Announcement: Mack Hollins has been fined twice by the NFL for actions stemming from the same play, leaving the New England Patriots wide receiver with a combined penalty of $34,441.
Hollins was fined $11,941 for taunting and another $22,500 for unnecessary roughness involving his helmet, according to the information shared in the source.

The incident occurred with 13:32 remaining in the fourth quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hollins caught a 9-yard pass on third and 10 before officials flagged him for taunting after he gestured toward Jaguars safety Eric Murray.
According to Mike Florio's report cited in the source, Hollins was not penalized during the game for illegal use of the helmet, but the NFL later issued the additional fine for unnecessary roughness.
Hollins Led Patriots in Receiving
The fines came after what was otherwise a productive game for Hollins. The veteran receiver finished with 87 receiving yards on six catches, leading the Patriots in receiving yardage.

In January 2025, during a game against the Denver Broncos, Hollins was fined $11,255 for stepping over cornerback Patrick Surtain and another $6,736 for standing over receiver Marvin Mims.
Those penalties brought additional financial consequences for the Patriots receiver, who has now again been hit with two separate fines stemming from the same play.
For Hollins, the latest penalties turn an otherwise strong receiving performance into an expensive week.
