Warning of rain and strong winds with thunder. Know today's weather forecast

Due to the activation of Western disturbance, rain activities with thunder and lightning are starting in many states, including Jharkhand, Bihar, and Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of change in weather in different states till 23 February. Meteorological Department Ranchi has expected rain and thunderstorms in various regions from 21 to 24 February. The Meteorological Department has issued yellow and orange alerts. In the state of Jharkhand, a warning has been issued for rain and strong winds with thunder and lightning in Latehar, Gumla, Lohardaga, Bokaro, Giridih, Dumka, Deoghar, Pakur, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Singhbhum East and West region, Saraikela Karswan region from 21 February to 23 February. The speed of the winds can be 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
Alert of rain with strong winds
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and light to moderate rains with strong winds in the eastern states of India during the next 3 days. There is also a possibility of hailstorms in some places. The weather will likely remain good in Uttar Pradesh during the next 7 days. However, light rain and strong winds may occur in different parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh on 27 February. In the state of Bihar, there is a possibility of change in weather in the Munger and Bhagalpur areas, including Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Khagaria, Saharsa, Banka, Jamui, Nawada, Gaya, Katihar, Purnia, Kishanganj during 22 to 23 February. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and light rains in these areas.
Rainfall in the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours in Rajasthan state, light rain and thunderstorms have been recorded in different areas of the Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions. The highest rainfall in Rajasthan has been recorded in Udaipurwati and Jhunjhunu. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will likely remain dry in most parts of the state for the next few days. Good rain has been recorded in Andaman Nicobar, southern parts of Kerala, during the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain has also been recorded in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, south parts of Assam, and Odisha, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu coastal areas. Rain may occur in different parts of Andaman Nicobar during the next 24 hours.
